Bimota was started by Massimo Tamburini in September 1972 after he crashed his Honda 750 on a racetrack. After this crash he set about the construction of a tubular steel frame to deal with the horsepower produced by the Japanese bikes. This frame both reduced the original bikes weight and also lowered its centre of gravity, only 10 were made.Website: www.bimota.it/
